CCIFJ Design Thinking Committee Webinar
This project was a webinar requested by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (CCIFJ), a local organization that connects the Japanese and French business communities with the intention to develop further business interests in Japan; one of their activities includes organizing events that are helpful for business activities. Beeans Inc. gave a presentation as a professional team of project management (PM) and consulting team, from the point of view that is similar to design and structure thinking. In consideration of the worldwide pandemic, the event was held online with the theme "Corporate Empowerment through Project Management''.

CCIFJ meets about four to five times a year for the purpose of exchanging information necessary for business activities, where Japanese and French businesses provide information and exchange information on topics of high interest. In particular, the Design Thinking Committee addresses design thinking as a concept in the process of generating new ideas and innovations.

Initiatives of Beeans Inc.
As a PM professional, Beeans Inc. talked about the similarity between all projects and the design thinking processes, which can be seen as structured thinking, including the high-level requirements that are essential in PM are similar to the user perspective in the design thinking process and the importance of communication in projects.
Project success
Although it was not a large-scale webinar, both CCIFJ members and non-members attended this event. After the presentation, we received a positive message from a participant, "Now I understand the necessity of PM and what is important in international projects and what kind of processes are necessary...(omitted)."
